floor leveler replied by indiana93 @ Thu, 01 May 2008 14:29:27 -0000

My contractor has put down one layer of floor leveler and you can still see spots where the heater is so laying the tile will be some what uneven. Should they lay another layer of this stuff or will the thinset work it out? The tile is rather thin so it is not very forgiving. Please help!

Problem with thin tile installation replied by indiana93 @ Thu, 17 Apr 2008 21:35:42 -0000

My contractor is having trouble laying my tile on top of the mesh because I am using a thin 3/16” 2×2 tile with some glass tile accents that are much thicker. He said the mesh is causing the thin tile to sink and cannot get it to be even close to the same height of the glass tile.
Any suggestions on how to lay the thin tile on top of this mesh?
Thanks,
