I am a Warmly Yours customer going back to 2000. I had an older model where the timer and thermostat were separate units. In 2004, I purchased the Smartstat and wired up the new unit. I could never get the heating mat to work again. I ended up tearing out the floor and I am in the process of installing a new one. I have the Smartstat thermostat that I would like to use with the purchase of a new mat. However, my concern is that the thermostat doesn’t work, or shorted out. How can I tell if this is in good working order so I don’t have to spend another $169?
