control replied by maw2656 @ Tue, 29 Jan 2008 02:48:59 -0000

We are at the point in installation when we are ready for the thermostat to be installed. This is a a lake home only used on weekends. We purchased the control that looked and was described as functioning like a dimmer. The package it’s in says it will cycle the warmer in 15 min increments for as long as you set the dial which looks like 10 hrs. We want to set the floor at a desirable temp. leave it alone for 2 days then switch it off. The “SmartStat” seemed overkill for our needs. Will the control we have keep the floor warm for 2 days? Or is it an all or none control? Anything else that would suit our needs?
Thanks, Mike
