Floor doesn't heat up as hot as it used to

I had a professional install the floor heating system last year and it heated up very well. This year it doesn’t get as warm as it used to. Do you think that a faulty wax ring which may cause water to spead under the floor over a period of time could be causing this problem. Thanks |

I don’t think that the wax ring is going to be causing the problem. I would suggest that we take ohm readings across the lead wires of your floor mats – this way we can determine whether or not the floor is working properly. Once the floors condition has been verified, we can take a look at the thermostat itself. I would recommend calling our technical staff and we can walk through all the appropriate steps.
